About the toolbox
The Toolbox is an interactive web-based collection of vital information, tools and resources to assist local government to build biodiversity management as core part of their business.
The toolbox is a shared repository and "resource kit" for local government staff and their associates. Development of the toolbox by working groups and individuals is part of the process of developing capacity in biodiversity management.
The tools seek to be practically focussed and to add value to both the people developing them, and the people who are seeking practical guidance on how to tackle biodiversity management at a local government level.
The toolbox is an evolving body of work. Tools are being uploaded and refined as we learn from our experiences. You are part of that process and we welcome your involvement in the process of ongoing improvement.
If you have a tool that you would like to add to the toolbox or comments to make on tools that are here then email us at toolbox@biocommunity.org.nz
